There I was, asleep and untroubled in my warm sleeping bag, dreaming dreams of gooey enchiladas and speedy Peregrine falcons, when my bladder woke me up. "Get out of bed and tend to me," it said. I refused. Again my bladder spoke and again I declined. After about a half hour of this my bladder won out. It always does. I stepped outside my tent and was greeted by an incredible sunrise over the Chisos mountains in Big Bend National Park. It turns out that my bladder has better photographic instincts than I do!
