Title: Night at the Palace
Comments: Originally called the Majestic Theater when first built in 1912, it was renamed the Palace Theater when J.C. Chatmas rebuilt it in 1925. From vaudeville shows to the first ‘talking pictures’ in 1929 to live dramatic productions, this theater has been Marlin's spot for entertainment throughout the decades. The Palace Theatrer Association took ownership of the building in 1981, forming a non-profit organization dedicated to providing family entertainment to the residents of Falls County. Renovations began at that time in order to preserve and restore the historic art deco theater. Mostly silent, it still occasionally hosts various functions.
